Diane began her real estate career in 1977, after teaching elementary education for 20 years. She was born and raised in a small farming community just south of the twin cities near Red Wing, Minnesota. This gave her a strong background in family values, good work ethics and a realization that education comes in all phases of one’s life while making valuable decisions. This is exactly what is needed in the buying and selling home process.
In addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and has an lifetime teaching certificate, Diane earned her major designations and certifications offered through the National Association of Realtors; Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI).
Diane has received outstanding achievement awards in having successfully closed over 3000 transactions with her husband Jack Carlson. Together they have earned awards such as 100% Club, Platinum and Hall of Fame and having been ranked in the top 10 in the state of Minnesota while with Re/Max for 18 years.
Relaxation and downtime would find Diane reading in preparation for her book club, journaling, cooking with her youngest granddaughter, both living in Minnestrista, cheering her along at the girls hockey and softball games. Diane enjoys seeing her oldest granddaughter perform at her school plays and speech trials. Together they go to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN where they share a common interest in gardening by volunteering time and talents in horticulture, a research based program organized by the University of Minnesota where she is an Auxiliary member.
